Transfer from Lima to Cusco by flight or by bus.
Acclimatization in Cusco (3400 m.)
Arround of the sacred mountains of the Incas
Day 1: CUSCO - TINQUI 3790 m. ( 3 Hs.) Bus
TINQUI - UPIS (4458 m.)
We set up camp alongside the Upis thermal springs, about 4 kilometers in the air. We bathe in the hot springs and the cold Upismayo which runs beside our camp
Day 2: UPIS - PUCACOCHA
We continue walking among high-altitude lakes in the valley immediately north of Ausangate, which are unnaturally green-blue. We rise to cross Arapa pass at 4790 m. Descent to Pucakocha lake (460 m.)
Day 3: PUCACOCHA LAKE - AUSANGATE BASE CAMP (4800 m.)
We continue walking among high-altitude lakes in the valley immediately south of Ausangate, which are unnaturally green-blue. We rise to cross Apacheta and Palomani pass at 5115m. Descent to Ausangate base camp. Exist a refuge (optional to our services)
Day 4: AUSANGATE BASE CAMP - SORACUCHUPAMPA ( 4800 m.)
Short day from Ausangate base camp to netx campo. 3 - 4 hs. crossing lakes with view to Vilcanota mountains..
Day 5: SORACUCHUPAMPA - PACCHANTA (4268 m.)
Long day. We will cross the Campa pass (5050 m.) and descent to Pacchanta village. Exist thermal baths (Optional to our services)
Day 6: PACCHANTA - TINQUI - CUSCO
We pass through increasingly inhabited valleys among the headwaters of the Paucartambo river on the north side of the mountain until the sun sets. We return to Cusco.
