Duration : acclimatization, 2 days and 2 days in mountain bike.
The first day, from Huaraz and always with views to cordillera Blanca, we will in transport 20 kilometers to Recuay 3400 m. town. After we will initiate an ascent of 24 kilometers to Huancapetí pass (4.300 ms. ) The way is dirt road and with variable inclinations, furrowing curved until reaching the pass.
Descent to Aija town (3.660 m.), Aija is a town characteristic of the Peruvian andes. Its main square is a precious balcony towards the coastal valley by where we will continue descending until closely together reaching the 2.000 meters of the town of Huiña, where we will realise the respective camping. This zone presents a gigantic canyon by where we will be descending towards the low zones. It is possible to observe plantations and small towns of the zone of the slopes of Ancash.
The second day, Very early, we continued descending by the valley and we will reach a flat and extensive zone by where we will follow the way until reaching the city of Huarmey, a coastal town of the Peruvian north where we will stay . Throughout the passage crosses small populations and extensive zones of culture. The route follows all the Huarmey river. The enter this city is by the main square and thence we will go to the Tuquillo beach where we will enjoy a marine food (only in the summer season - January - March)
