Transfer from Lima to Cusco by flight or by bus.
Acclimatization in Cusco (3400 m.)
Day 1 CUSCO
Transfer to the airport. Flight Lima to Cusco. Arriving in Cusco, transfer to hotel.
Accommodation in Cusco. Free Day.
Day 02 - CUSCO
Ciy tour on arround of Cuzco, visit Sacsaywaman, Koricancha, Kenko, Pukara, etc..
Rest in Cusco.
Day 3: INCAS SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast. Guided tour of Sacred Valley of the Incas to only one hour by bus from Cusco lies the Valley of the Urubamba or Sacred Valley. Here are tipical villages, impressive terraces and important archaeological complexs.
The landscape is dominated by the imposing peaks of the Vilcanota mountain, the valley has served as storage of agricultural products to the city of Cusco since Inca times and is now famous for its corn, which has grains largest in the world. The valley is home to communities of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. We visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo in the afternoon.

Day 4 : Cusco – Km 82 (2750 m.) – Wayllabamba ( 3000 m.) (4 - 5 hs. walking aprox.)
We leave early from Cusco on bus, arriving to (82 km. away Piskacucho,). In this place we get in contact with porters and cooks, who will take the necessary equipment for the trip.
We will begin the Inca Trail skirting the Urubamba river to arrive to Miskay where we will have lunch. We continue our journey, until our camping base Wayllabamba where we will have a pleasant dinner. During day is possible see the Veronica mountain (5750 m.)
Day 5 : Wayllabamba - Pucaymayu (3620 m.) (6 - 7 hs. walking aprox.)
Breakfast. We continue our trek until Warmiwuañusca pass, at 4,200 m. (Most high point in trekking) , here we will have a panoramic view of the montains and high snowy picks surrounding us.
We will descend until our next camping, Pacaymayu. This night is the most cold.
Day 6 : Pacaymayu – Wiñaywayna (4 - 6 hs. walking aprox.) .
Breakfast. We begin the trekking very early, ascending toward Runcuracay, archaeological area at 3,800 m.. After, We ascent another pass (4000 m.) , then we will continue toward Sayacmarca (3650 m.) , another archaeological area. We will have lunch at Puyupatamarca (in Quechua, City above the clouds), impressive Inca City. After luch we will continue to Wiñaywayna (2650 m.) where we will have dinner and overnight.
Day 7 : Wiñaywayna - Machupicchu.
After breakfast we will continue until our arrival to Inti Punku or The Door of the Sun, wonderful entrance to the citadel of Machupicchu. Here, we will have a guided tour in this wonderful citadel. Later we go down in bus to the small town of Aguas Calientes, and after lunch (not included) we will take the train back to Cusco
Day 8 Cusco
